All is not well in Atlanta Hawks land and frustrations are starting to boil over as the trade deadline approaches and many are wondering if Hawks General Manager Travis Schlenk will make a move to help this team. It was reported yesterday by Shams Charnia of The Athletic that John Collins had grown “frustrated with his role in Atlanta.” In the latest Hawksbeat podcast we will talk about what this means and how to interpret the report from Charnia. John Collins is coming off an offseason in which he signed a five-year, $125 million deal in restricted free agency. For the season Collins is averaging 17.5 points per game and pulling down 7.9 rebounds a game. He shooting a career best 42% from beyond the arc.
