Hawks release final roster ahead of the 2021-22 season

The Atlanta Hawks have made their final cuts heading into the 2021-22 NBA season and on Monday they released their final roster. After a cinderella season last year the Hawks solidified their core by locking up guys like Trae Young, John Collins, Clint Capella, Kevin Huerter and picking up the options on Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter and Onyeka Okongwu. Here are some details on the roster.

  • Two way players: Skyler Mays and Sharife Cooper
  • New additions to the roster are Gorgui Dieng, Delon Wright and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot who grabbed the last roster spot earlier this week.

Also listed on the report are the new assistant Coaches brought on this year by Coach McMillan. Joe Prunty, Jamelle McMillan, Matt Hill and Nick Van Exel

The Atlanta Hawks will open up their season on October 21st at State Farm arena as they welcome Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
