Cam Reddish Arrives in Atlanta, Meets with ATL Media (video)

The much anticipated arrival of Hawks first round pick Cam Reddish happened today as he spent some time with the Atlanta media. Reddish was joined by Hawks General Manager Travis Schlenk and Head Coach Lloyd Pierce at the podium and talked about everything from playing with Trae Young, his time at Duke and how it feels coming to the city of Atlanta.

Cam Reddish finished his season at Duke dealing with a injury and he is still working his working his way back. Schlenk mentioned this on draft night and said that the Hawks are very aware and that they have no concerns about his health. With that being said, Cam will probably not be available for summer league.

Reddish averaged 13.5 points per game as a freshman as the 3rd option at Duke. He seemed to struggle with finishing at the hoop toward the end of the season. He also shot 33% from 3 point range.

The Hawks drafted De’Andre Hunter with the 4th pick and later moved back into the 2nd round to grab Bruno Fernando with the 34th pick. The Hunter pick won’t be official until July 1st so the Hawks can’t speak on it yet. We imagine that Hunter and Fernando will be introduced together at a later date and we will keep you updated as that unfolds.
