The Hawks will close out the month of November with a 3 game road trip and nobody will be happier to see this month be a thing of the past more than this Hawks team. The Hawks have a 2-13 record this month that also includes a 10 game losing streak. Coach Pierce has been throwing out many different lineups trying to find that one lineup that will give the Hawks some offensive production as well as defensive energy.
Last night as the Hawks beat the Charlotte Hornets, Pierce inserted Kevin Huerter into the starting lineup and Kent Bazemore had one of his best games of the season. Now this is just a one game sample size so we’ll see how this progresses. For a full recap on the Hawks / Hornets game check out our latest YouTube.
11/27 – @ Miami Heat
The last time these two teams met the Hawks actually got the better of the Heat. The two teams squared off earlier in the month and Atlanta took home a 123-118 victory behind 24 points and 15 assist from Trae Young. You can best believe the Heat haven’t forgotten about that loss and they will be looking for redemption. The Heat are coming off a loss to Toronto and are hoping the home cooking will do them some good.
11/28 – @Charlotte Hornets
It seems like the Hawks play the Hornets more than anyone else in the league. After last night’s crushing defeat the Hawks will travel to Charlotte to see if they can repeat the magic that happened last night.
11/30 – @Oklahoma City Thunder
The Hawks will face the Thunder for the first time in the regular season and it will be Trae Young’s first matchup vs Russell Westbrook. The Thunder are currently the 5th best team in the West with a 12-7 record and the Hawks will indeed have their hands full with Russ and PG. This also we be a chance for the Hawks to see their old friend Dennis Schroeder.
